In this video you will learn about creating your mymedicare.gov account, creating a drug list, comparing the costs of your medication, printing your Medicare card, viewing you Medicare claim history, finding local pharmacies and more… The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) created a new portal for Medicare beneficiaries in 2019. In this mymedicare.gov account  you access to basically all your Medicare details about yourself. Here you can see things such as your current plan Summary of Benefits (SOB), your drug list, Medicare claims, when you will reach the donut hole (coverage gap) and many other details that will be a benefit to you. We highly recommend creating an account for your personal use at https://www.medicare.gov

PLEASE NOTE: When using this system while comparing new year plan options, you will see a GREEN “ENROLL” button on this site. We would highly recommend that you “DO NOT” use this method until you talk to a licensed insurance agent. With an agent on your team you will get a lot of extra support to make the right decision and it comes at no additional cost to you, just piece of mind. Plus if you currently have an agent, this method will remove them from being your Agent of Record.

Good luck and reach out to us with any additional questions. Dave and Dawn Cook
